Cookie and browser storage policy
Browser storage is used for sign-in, security and requested preferences. Optional website analytics and campaign attribution are off unless you allow them.

Essential service storage
The app uses Supabase authentication cookies to maintain and refresh your sign-in session. Their lifetime depends on session settings and sign-out. fielded-signup-email supports confirmation and lasts up to one hour. fielded_review supports restricted code-review access for up to seven days. Google and Slack connection-state cookies protect an integration sign-in and last up to ten minutes. Blocking these can prevent the requested service from working.
Your preferences
Browser storage may remember your requested appearance, dashboard or tour choices and whether a signup offer has already been shown. Theme and tour preferences stay on that browser until changed or cleared; session preferences end with the browser session. fielded-privacy-v1 records your optional-attribution choice for six months so we can honour it. Private browsing or blocked storage may prevent preferences from being remembered.
Optional campaign attribution
If you choose Accept all or enable Campaign attribution and save your choices, we can remember the source, medium and campaign labels in a campaign link during your browser session, for no longer than 30 minutes. We do not capture the full referring URL, search terms or ad click identifiers for this feature. No advertising pixel or external analytics service is enabled by this choice. We use it only to retain campaign context on a visit; it does not grant permission for marketing email. Rejecting it does not restrict access.
Optional behavioural analytics
When enabled and you choose Accept all or switch Website analytics on and save your choices, fielded-privacy-v2 remembers your separate analytics and campaign-attribution choices for six months. Previous attribution-only consent does not enable analytics. fielded-website-visit-v2 in session storage holds a random, signed visit token for up to 30 minutes. It links page views, clicks, scrolling and estimated active section time to a single visit. We also process approximate location and an encrypted IP address as described in our privacy notice. No form values, recordings, private workspace data, advertising IDs or fingerprint are collected. The owner portal is not tracked. You can reject as easily as accept, using the Cookies and analytics banner or Cookie settings. Choose options lets you enable either category, both or neither; essential storage stays on.
Withdrawing analytics
Reject optional in Cookie settings stops new events and clears the active analytics identifier. fielded-website-delete-v2 may temporarily retain the old signed token solely to retry deletion of the current visit if the network is unavailable; it is removed after success or when the tab session ends. Browser privacy signals disable collection. Analytics visit records expire after 30 days and encrypted IPs after seven days, with daily cleanup. Declining or clearing storage does not affect your access to Fielded.
Changing your choice
Use Opt out of analytics in the footer to stop optional tracking in one click, or Cookie settings to review your choices at any time. Opting out also clears optional campaign attribution. You can also clear cookies and site storage in your browser; doing so may sign you out. Your choice applies to the site where you set it; you can manage the public website and app separately.
External services and links
Stripe checkout and external websites have their own cookie notices. Following an external link loads that provider's website. We do not add third-party video or social embeds to a page merely because a link is present. If we introduce optional analytics or embedded tracking, this policy and the choice mechanism must be updated before it is enabled.
